Context: The proposed project area is located in Esenler Airport Neighborhood, which is one of the most typical districts where migration from Anatolia to Istanbul is experienced. Spatial organization was achieved "overnight" at the initiative of individuals, as a result of this wave of immigration that started in Istanbul in the 1950s. In addition to being a housing problem that is expected to be solved as soon as possible, the shantytown defines a place that creates a potential between the problem and creativity, including the knowledge of making many creative places. This detection around the project area manifests itself in two different ways. First of all, this situation, which is structurally visible, often occurs with the vertical rise of the building as a result of the increase in the number of family members. When we look at the space from the outside, we discover an organization that differentiates layer by layer. The first aim of the proposal project is to investigate the knowledge of slums to produce land, to reproduce this knowledge with different methods and to reveal their potential.
